PRCA launches new Employee Engagement Group

PRCA launches new Employee Engagement Group

Our partner the PRCA announced the launch of its Employee Engagement Group today. The aim of the new group is to focus attention on the positive impact that employee engagement can have on business success. The Group will run learning and networking events and share insight and case studies.

The PRCA Employee Engagement Group is a PRCA Group for practitioners at all stages of their careers in the PR and communications industry. The PRCA already successfully operates Groups in many sectors including Travel and Tourism, Broadcast, and Health.

The Employee Engagement Group will aim to equip its members with the tools they need to effectively engage with their workforce and create positive workplace environments.

The Group’s Chairman is Ruth Dance CMPRCA, Managing Director, The Employee Engagement Alliance. Ruth said: “I am absolutely delighted to be working with the PRCA and leading the Employee Engagement Group throughout 2018 and beyond. Employee Engagement is rising up the business agenda very quickly and I’m excited to be helping the PRCA to elevate employee engagement through the discussion, learning, and the content we’ll be delivering.”

Francis Ingham MPRCA, Director General, PRCA, said: “The PRCA is pleased to announce that it is launching another Group to sit alongside existing Sectoral, Regional and National Groups. Positive employee engagement must sit at the very heart of organisations, small or large, for them to be healthy places to work. I believe that by being a member of this Group, individuals can better understand how to create and sustain these environments.”

About the PRCA

Who they are: Founded in 1969, the Public Relations and Communications Association (PRCA) is a UK-based PR and communications membership body, operating in 55 countries around the world. They represent in excess of 24,000 people across the whole range of the PR and communications industry. The PRCA promotes all aspects of public relations and communications work, helping teams and individuals maximise the value they deliver to clients and organisations.

What they do: The Association exists to raise standards in PR and communications, providing members with industry data, facilitating the sharing of communications best practice and creating networking opportunities.

How they do it and make a difference: All PRCA members are bound by a professional charter and codes of conduct, and benefit from exceptional training. The Association also works for the greater benefit of the industry, sharing best practice and lobbying on the industry’s behalf e.g. fighting the NLA’s digital licence.
