From ‘long service’ to ‘career celebration’ – how Co-op transformed the way it celebrates career commitment

With a shift to shorter careers during a lifetime and 50% of Co-op colleagues having five or less years’ service, the long service schemes Co-op had in 2018 were no longer fit for purpose. Working with colleagues Co-op created a new ‘Career Celebration’ scheme which acknowledges and celebrates Co-op colleagues throughout their career at Co-op – from their first year until retirement.
