Why do you do what you do?
The reason I invested in Your FLOCK, in the first place, was after many different experiences in different companies and industries. Both as a consultant and even as an employee. I got to see, first hand, the real difference inspired leaders make to an organisation. And the opposite too. And how happiness at work is crucial to personal happiness in life and personal development. My goal is now to help a million people be happier at work.
Describe your talk in 100 words
It’s fast paced talk full of take homes – with more stats and facts than you can shake a stick at. Heavily researched to put the case forward of the remote work revolution. And why right now we all need to be paying closer attention.
What problems will your talk solve for our audience and why is it needed?
Right now, we are at a crisis point of employee engagement and later stage capitalism. This affects everything we do. Not just employees but managers and leaders too. If we don’t change very soon – only certain businesses will have won. This is the revolution. And one which will have profound effects on the future of work and the future of the world.
What valuable insights, strategies, tools or techniques will our audience walk away with?
My talk will help people understand the landscape of employee engagement right now. And what it really means to consider the future of work. And how important it is for your organisation to not only want to have happy productive employees – but to actually have them and how.
What do you think will be the major differentiator of the workplace of the future, as opposed to the way we work today?
This is the future of work is NOT what you think. The title of my TedxTalk. And the updated version of that talk exclusively for Workplaces Inspirathon 2022. This is the major differentiator. How much your team likes working and working with you. As well as businesses we can use technologies to help managers more and more in this new hybrid world. Because the revolution has only just begun. The major changes are yet to come.
