Why do you do what you do?
I do what I do because there is always a better way.
Describe your talk in 100 words
I will talk about the importance of trust in organizations. The challenge is often to make trust tangible. But the single most important quality of an inspiring workplace is trust. Many organizations fail on this for many reasons. And one of the levers is leadership behavior. If leaders want to inspire trust, they need to be empathic, fair, kind, available, or just human. If leaders base their leadership on pressure, position or power, they destroy trust.
What problems will your talk solve for our audience and why is it needed?
My talk will help to make discussions about trust in the organization more tangible. And it will help people to analyze the trust-levels within their organization.
What valuable insights, strategies, tools or techniques will our audience walk away with?
During my talk I will address the consequences of low trust, deal with the levers to build trust and share some practical ways to bring trust in the foreground of decision-making processes.
What do you think will be the major differentiator of the workplace of the future, as opposed to the way we work today?
The workplace of the future will return to the essence of work: people creating value for other people, balancing the needs of all stakeholders (employees, customers, suppliers, shareholders, society).
