Stories from an Inspiring Leader – Harriet Gisborne
Harriet Gisborne, Managing Director, KVA
Harriet is courageous and strong in her approach to business and leading the team, she is always pushing boundaries for our clients and supporting the team to be the best versions of themselves.
Harriet believes in doing things differently and turning employment norms on their head. Leading with a modern view of freedom, trust and rewriting the rule book. She sees being a leader as a responsibility to impact people’s lives positively, empowering them to have a life of happiness and success.
A company is the team members within it and Harriet has a passionate drive to ensure no-one ever feels like a cog in a wheel and always knows their value. This is resonated through the Corporate Kindness initiative she founded alongside our CEO (Kelly Allison) to encourage companies to lead with kindness and compassion.
Giving back is a key value for Harriet and she is ambitious to continue growing a globally successful company that will enable all team members to share and be a part of together.
Harriet is my mentor which I love as she is so knowledgeable and driven, and I hope some of her knowledge and ethos rubs off on me! She has supported me in upskilling my digital knowledge since joining KVA 2 years ago and works with me to develop my role into what I would like it to be. Harriet has given me confidence in myself and gives me something to aspire to.
Endorsement
“She is kind and knowledgeable with the determination to succeed. As the MD Harriet is supportive to the rest of the team and is always on hand to help where needed, no matter what she has on herself, nothing is ever too much for Harriet.”
