Hello, what another incredible month it’s been here for team EEA. We started the month with a fantastic event, my first since joining the EEA; The Neuroscience of Engagement. The event was a sell out and it was wonderful to see so many employee engagement practitioners in the room. Feedback was outstanding on the event (more on that below) and I’m excited for many more events across the country that are currently in the planning.
A few months ago, when I joined the EEA, the first thing I did was to get feedback from our members on what you’d like to see more of this year. The most common theme was the need for more networking opportunities. So, we’re planning to make the most of the summer sunshine (fingers crossed) and our joint passion for Employee Engagement (most definitely) and are hosting our summer networking drinks party. More on that below too!
Matt Manners from The Employee Engagement Awards interviewed me for Engagement Zone this month. I hope it conveyed my complete passion for proving the value of Employee Engagement.
And my final thought… another general election coming up – how are we supporting our people through these times of uncertainty? Is it having an affect on employee engagement? Have you done anything proactive in your organisations? I’d love to hear from you [email protected]
