Welcome to our first book of stories of Inspiring Leaders from around the world. 

2020 was a year like no other, filled with challenges, uncertainty and change. Having personally read every single entry, I’ve been astounded by how many incredible leaders have risen to the challenge and put their people first during such difficult times.

When people and organizations were working hard to survive there were individuals, such as in this book, who were not willing to settle for the status-quo or accept that survival alone was an option. These leaders have chosen to stand up, stand out and show true leadership when it has mattered the most.

You will learn, as you begin to read through these remarkable stories of leadership, that there are clear consistent themes. The strong level of courage and humanity shown by these leaders in the C-suite, the managers who empowered and unleashed the potential of others and the unsung heroes who ‘leaned in’ and demonstrated superb communication.

It has therefore come as no surprise, that these behaviours are the same as how we, at Inspiring Workplaces, define an Inspiring Leader.
