3-Session Live Learning Cohort for Leaders Who Want Teams to Thrive

Powered by

Leading with a PeopleFirst Mindset is a three-week live learning cohort designed for leaders who want to build thriving, high-performing workplaces by putting people at the heart of everything they do. Created by Positive Foundry in partnership with Inspiring Workplaces, this interactive programme blends the science of human flourishing with proven people-first leadership practices that drive culture, wellbeing, and performance.

Across three energising 50-minute sessions, leaders from around the world come together in a small-cohort experience to learn, reflect, and practise practical skills that strengthen purpose, connection, and impact at work. Each session combines expert facilitation, peer dialogue, and simple, actionable tools you can apply immediately with your teams.

Offered in two limited-availability cohorts of three back-to-back weekly sessions, this programme provides a focused, supportive learning journey where leaders can deepen self-awareness, share real challenges, and build a community committed to creating inspiring workplaces where individuals and organisations flourish.

When Life Knocks You Down — Navigating Setbacks with Resilience

There’s no way around it: adversity and hardship are part of the human experience. The real question isn’t whether we’ll face setbacks, but how we respond when we do. This session opens the resilience conversation by getting honest about what setbacks actually do to us — physiologically, emotionally, and professionally — and why our instinct to push through or shut down often backfires. Participants will leave with a clearer sense of how to process a setback without being defined by it, plus a first set of tools they can apply immediately the next time things don’t go as planned.

  • Session 2: September 29, 2026

    4pm BST | 11am New York EDT | 8am San Francisco PDT

    The Resilience Toolkit

This session digs into the mental models that separate people who stay stuck after a hard experience from those who move through it and grow. We’ll explore the connection between mindset and recovery speed, including how self-compassion (versus self-criticism) changes the way our brains process failure and stress. Participants will examine their own default thought patterns under pressure and learn reframing techniques grounded in positive psychology and neuroscience research. Rather than generic “stay positive” advice, this session offers a grounded, practical look at how shifting perspective, especially around what a setback means about us, can genuinely change our capacity to bounce back. Attendees leave with language and lenses they can use the next time their mindset needs a reset.

  • Session 3: October 6, 2026

    4pm BST | 11am New York EDT | 8am San Francisco PDT

    Techniques for Building Lasting Resilience

Recovering from a setback is one thing; using it to become a stronger, sharper version of yourself is another. This closing session moves from concept to action, equipping participants with concrete techniques to not just recover, but to recover better than before. We’ll share practical routines that help teams and individuals get ready to be resilient. The focus here is on sustainable practice: small, repeatable habits that compound over time, rather than one-time fixes. Participants will walk away with a personal resilience toolkit built from the full arc of the series, tools to process setbacks, mindsets to support recovery, and techniques to move forward stronger.
